Ecohouse raises an impressive £1,000 in aid of Cornish charities with Robin’s recent skydive

Ecohouse director Robin van der Bij is delighted to have raised £1,000 for three Cornish charities last week.
Robin was taking part in a charity tandem skydive along with others from the Cornish business world, organised by Live Events South West.
To raise the money Robin jumped out of a plane at 10,000 feet, enjoyed a 30 second freefall, before landing safely at Cornwall Parachute Club, near Perranporth.

The high flying founder of specialist design and build company Ecohouse is setting his sights even higher for a charity fundraiser next month.
Robin van der Bij, 38, who set up his business creating one-off super energy efficient homes six years ago, will be skydiving over the Cornish countryside on September 21 to raise money for a selection of Cornish charities.

Ecohouse has started work internally and externally insulating and improving a home at Chapel Porth, near St Agnes.
The building which has been extended at various times over the last 40 years is to be given a complete eco-makeover.
