Falmouth

Interior designer Kathryn Tyler has been planning her contemporary home in her parents’ garden for several years. She approached Ecohouse to make some changes to the original planning approval, to help her make her house as energy efficient as possible, and to guide her through the build. Ecohouse carried out the architectural design after planning approval and guided her through constructing the weatherproof, insulated and airtight shell. The project has been filmed for the Channel 4 series Grand Designs. It was screened in October 2010 and is featured in the February issue 2011 issue of Grand Designs magazine.
